# Data retention

Retention is set per account: ask your Gladia contact for another duration, from no history at all to several
years. With no history, a session's result is still available for a short time after it ends, then deleted.

Data stays in the region of the API address your account uses ([Regions](/introduction/regions/)).

Callbacks are delivered once ([Callbacks](/live/callbacks/#delivery)): if your server misses one, read the session
with `GET /v2/live/{id}` while it is in your history.
